What to expect (based on 2024)

Wheel bases & bundles

Steering wheels

  • ClubSport RS – the 320 mm Forza-licensed rim delivered the biggest drop in 2024 (54%). Pure GT vibe with LEDs.
  • Fanatec CSL GT3 – compact, Xbox-ready, perfect for open-wheel and GT sprint racing.
  • ClubSport Formula V2.5X (QR2) – successor to the V2.5, QR2 wheel-side fitted by default. Historically around 20% off, often bundled with paddle/QR upgrades.
  • CSL Elite WRC – officially licensed rally wheel that frequently gets packaged with the CSL DD.

Pedals & accessories

  • CSL Pedals – base kits dropped 20–30% and often included free elastomers or mounting plates.
  • ClubSport V3 Pedals – premium pedal set with rumble motors; expect 25% off again.
  • ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5 – historically around the -25% mark, sometimes bundled with rally/handbrake setups.

Limited editions & drops

Fanatec loves launching special editions mid-sale. In 2024 it was an Oracle Red Bull rim; for 2025 expect cosmetic spins on the ClubSport Formula V2.5X with QR2 pre-installed. They sell out fast and barely get discounted, so be ready.

What probably won’t be discounted

  • Brand-new ClubSport DD hardware – products like the ClubSport DD Ready2Race Drift Bundle are too fresh for heavy cuts.
  • Recently launched rims – think BMW/GT specials such as the Fanatec Podium BMW M4 GT3. Fanatec doesn’t discount brand-new licenced rims.
  • Standalone QR2 kits – the brand prefers to include them in bundles rather than cut the loose adapter price.

Fanatec’s Black Friday playbook is simple: clear older stock, not the latest flagships.

How deep are the discounts?

Tips to lock in the best deal

  1. Pre-load your account – log in, save your addresses and payment options today.
  2. Be there at launch – the site always struggles around 09:00 CET; check out within the first 30 minutes.
  3. Refresh daily – new drops appear every 24 hours. Set alarms.
  4. Compare with ongoing promos – the Fanatec CSL DD 5 Nm already saw €150 off in 2025. Make sure Black Friday beats the current price.
  5. Plan your ecosystem – confirm your CSL Pedals or ClubSport V3 setup matches your wheelbase and QR2/QR1 hardware.

Bundles vs. single items

Bundles almost always win on value. The Ready2Race and rally combos delivered up to 26% savings versus buying à la carte in 2024. Beginners get everything (base, wheel, pedals, sometimes a shifter) in one box. Single items only make sense when you already own most of the ecosystem and just need a specific upgrade.

Alternatives outside Fanatec

  • MOZA R5 Bundle & MOZA R9 – sales usually kick off 21 November with up to $100 off. Great for PC-only racers.
  • Sim-Lab P1-X & Sim-Lab GT1 Evo – expect 10–11% off on cockpits if your rig needs a stability upgrade.
  • Simucube 2 Pro – high-end direct drive with modest 5–10% discounts, but every euro counts when you’re buying pro hardware.

FAQ

Does Fanatec use coupon codes?
No. Prices are lowered directly on the product page – there are no working coupon codes.

Can I return sale items?
Yes. EU customers still get a 14-day return window, even during Black Friday.

What if an item sells out?
It snaps back to the normal price and won’t be restocked during the sale.

Is the normal warranty included?
Absolutely. You still get the full 2-year Fanatec warranty.

Bottom line

Fanatec Black Friday 2025 is the best time to expand your rig. Expect aggressive cuts on the CSL DD Ready2Race, GT DD Pro and staple ClubSport rims, while accessories like the ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5 and ClubSport V3 Pedals hover around -25%. Prep your account, show up early and refresh daily – that’s how you secure the best sim racing upgrades of the year.
